FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Wondering
about something?

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Open programming welcomes every major and experience level.

You can also apply to the Analyst Program without prior technical experience; recruitment includes assigned preparation so you know where to start.

What’s the difference between attending and joining a program?

General meetings, workshops, and guest speaker events are free and open to CU Boulder students, faculty, and staff. No application is needed to attend. Internal membership begins with admission to the Analyst or Fellow Program, or the Executive Board.

When do you meet?

Open meetings are held every other Tuesday during Fall and Spring, subject to university closures. Analysts also attend weekly education meetings during their program semester. Follow our official announcements for confirmed dates, rooms, and event details.

How do I apply to the Analyst Program?

Recruitment runs at the start of the Fall and Spring semesters. The process includes an online application, a behavioral interview, and a technical interview based on assigned preparation material. Check the club’s official channels for the current application and deadlines.
